Faster Better Safer: Americans for Transportation Mobility

The FasterBetterSafer Regional Advisory Council is comprised of a select group of state and local coalitions and organizations that are on the frontlines working for transportation investment and improvements around the country. As members of the Regional Advisory Council, they provide important guidance on local, state and regional issues to help advise the ATM’s policy objectives and serve as vital surrogates for the FasterBetterSafer Campaign.

The council is organized into 7 regions.

Each coalition/organization is tasked with the following:

• Helping grow the FasterBetterSafer grassroots network
• Sending along important FasterBetterSafer legislative alerts to their members
• Identifying important events in which the FasterBetterSafer campaign should participate
• Providing important feedback on the positions of key Congressional members in the region

In exchange for the commitment, the Campaign provides:

• Tested tools to help effectively communicate on these issues
• Updates on pivotal legislation moving through Congress
• Access to key networking opportunities and best-practices sharing
• Communications support from FasterBetterSafer staff for events and media outreach
